Amendments to parking bays in West Norwood

After a process of consultation with businesses, Station to Station BID and local residents, Lambeth Parking have amended the parking bay layout in the town centre so that the scheme is clearer, easier to enforce and therefore better for businesses.

A statutory consultation was carried out in December 2021/January 2022 and following this, amendments to the parking bay layout have been made in and around West Norwood, from the junction of Norwood Road with Lancaster Avenue and York Hill southwards to West Norwood station – details below.

Prior to the scheme becoming fully operational, a two-week period of ‘soft enforcement’ will be carried out through the issue of warning notices.

The information below sets out the key change to the parking layout as a reminder of the promoted improvements.
