L’Arche London is a community of more than one hundred people with and without learning disabilities. We have been based in West Norwood, in South London, since 1977.
We provide registered care, supported housing and specialist day services to help people with disabilities live fulfilled lives. We are regulated by the Care Quality Commission and are one of Lambeth’s approved providers of care for adults with learning disabilities.
We live, work and celebrate together. We give time to the practical, emotional and spiritual needs of the people we support. Some of our team have been with L’Arche for more than thirty years. As such, we are committed to far more than service provision.
The L’Arche Craft Workshop makes beautiful gift items including candles, woven bookmarks, jewellery, scarves and more. The shop currently remains shut but you can place orders online – and candles can be specially commissioned to order, so if you have something in mind, do get in touch to see if they can create something special for you!
