CORONAVIRUS GRANTS & HELPLINE NOW AVAILABLE

The Small Business Grant Funding (SBGF) and the Retail Hospitality & Leisure Grant (RHLG) are now both open online to receive applications.

To claim the grant, you will need to fill in an online form. The grant will then be paid directly to you within the next 7-10 working days.

Before you begin your claim, you will need the following ready:

·      Business rates account number
·      Address of property
·      Bank a/c
·      Sort Code
·      Bank account name
·      VAT registration number

ESSENTIAL

To complete the form, you will need your unique business rates reference number (found on any business rates bill).

IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THIS IT WILL SUBSTANTIALLY SLOW DOWN THE PAYMENT OF YOUR GRANT.

If you do not know your business rates number, call the Business Rates Team on 020 8315 2255 between 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.

If you are a Station to Station levy payer, we should also have this information so please email: Bronwen@stationtostation.london

ELIGIBILITY

Please have your bank details and a copy of your latest business rates bill available as information will be required in order to complete the application.

Small Business Grant Funding

In order to be entitled to a payment under this scheme you will need to confirm that your business was occupied on 11th March 2020 and was eligible for relief under the Small Business Rate Relief (SBRR) Scheme with a rateable value of less than £15,000.

  • Properties which were occupied on 11th March 2020 and receiving support under the Rural Rate Relief Scheme are also eligible.

In order to be entitled to a payment under this scheme you will need to confirm that your business was occupied on 11th March 2020 and was eligible for relief under the Retail, Hospitality and Leisure Relief Scheme with a rateable value of less than £51,000.
Eligible businesses with a rateable value of up to £15,000 will receive a grant of £10,000.
Eligible businesses with a rateable value of over £15,000 and less than £51,000 will receive a grant of £25,000.

Not sure if your business is eligible?

The definition of Retail, Hospitality and Leisure has been expanded to include more businesses such as:

shoe repairs/key cutting, travel agents, ticket offices, dry cleaners, launderettes, PC/TV/domestic appliance repairs, funeral directors, photo processing, tool hire, car hire, employment agencies, betting shops, estate agents and letting agents

See Guidance on eligibility criteria set by Government (Expanded Retail PDF)

These businesses will be eligible for the grant, if their rateable value is between £15,000 and £51,000. The grant available will be up to £25K.

If your business is not eligible for these grants or a business rates holiday, please email Charlotte: charlotte@stationtostation.london
