Showcasing new businesses to locals
In collaboration with Norwood Forum and West Norwood Feast, Station to Station have been running a series of local food & drinks walks, introducing local people to restaurants, cafes, bars and shops that they might not have previously visited or known about.
The welcome that our businesses have provided has been overwhelming, we are so proud of those of you who have taken part so far.
If you would like to be part of the next set of Food & Drinks walks, let us know and we will be in touch email: info@stationtostation.london
“The drinks walk last night was a massive success, not least because of the organisation that Teresa (West Norwood Feast Co-ordinator) put into it. Tulse Hill Hotel were exceptionally lovely with a really comprehensive tour of all their facilities and then pretty much as much free beer as we could drink. Then the lovely Vanessa at Carlos Cafe fed as well as a watered us with beer samples and paninis. And finally Guy at the Railway was simply outstanding – again as much beer as we could drink and so much insight in the pub. He is a fascinating chap too – doing a Masters in community run Pubs … Then we drifted down to the Queen of the South which was basically banging. None of those who came had been to any of the places we visited and all were universally impressed and keen to return. Pauline (of Asian heritage) was totally won over by the pubs especially – she didn’t realise pubs could be so welcoming and community friendly. So won over, she wanted to ask Guy to give her a job.”
