The current Cost of Living Crisis has obvious impacts on businesses – with soaring energy costs, staff recruitment and retention issues, rising prices of supplies and increases in rent to name just a few challenges.
We believe a well-supported manager or business owner runs a better business, meaning that workplaces and organisations that serve the local community have a better chance of survival.
With this in mind, we are pleased to announce that the Design Council and its funding body Impact on Urban Health have awarded Station to Station further funding to continue our work to make West Norwood and Tulse Hill’s workplaces happier and healthier.
Stress and mental health issues which are caused or exacerbated by the financial worries of running a business were identified as a key problem for our businesses in 2021 when we had the first round of funding. Managers and business owners expressed how this then affected their ability to do business, and how valuable peer to peer support could be.
