What do the cost-of-living crisis, skills shortages and unspent apprenticeship levy funds have in common? That’s what the London Progression Collaboration (LPC) will be examining in this expert panel event, where guests will share their insights into the social value impact of transferring unspent apprenticeship levy funds from large businesses to SMEs
Join the LPC and experts from levy donors and SME networks to hear about the impact of levy transfer
What? Use it or lose it – unlocking apprenticeship levy for social impact
When? Tuesday 16th May, 11am-12pm
Where? A virtual event taking place via zoom.
Who? Hosted by the London Progression Collaboration, this event features expert panellists from Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP, the London Borough of Hounslow and more
You’ll hear from levy paying donors about why they share their levy and the impact it has, as well as from smaller businesses about what receiving funds for apprenticeship training has meant for them. We’ll also share why the LPC is appealing for more levy payers to share unspent funds, especially with SMEs in some of the core sectors which keep our economy moving and where demand for skills and apprenticeship funds is high, including early years, construction, hospitality, and social care.
