Lambeth Council has recently starting delivering its own in-house employment programme for residents and have a pool of local job-seekers ready to be matched with the right employer.
The council can also help to attract additional candidates by advertising vacancies on their Opportunity Lambeth web portal which are circulated weekly to Lambeth’s Job Centres, Youth Hubs, colleges, and various other local organisations, as well as being easily searchable for those job-hunting online. Additionally, Lambeth are able to help to filter applications so that only suitable applicants are sent your way, and in some cases where there is a skills-gap amongst local residents, they can help to cover the cost of training to ensure that recruits have the right skills and qualifications.
