Station to Station uses external funding streams to fund public realm improvements such as murals, lamppost banners and some planting schemes.
We work with Lionel Stanhope, a well known local mural painter, who painted the West Norwood station bridge in 2021 using funding from Network Rail. A year later we used EU Welcome Back funding to pay for the Tulse Hill bridge to be done.
We worked with one of our businesses, the South London Botanical Institute, who together with Lambeth and the Grow Back Greener fund allowed us to install planters and ‘depaved’ beds along the high street and into the industrial estate.
We received funding from Lambeth in 2019 to rebrand the industrial area as Norwood Works – with lamppost banners, murals and oil drum planters.
