We use a combination of organic and paid for promotions to reach the maximum number of potential customers.
Our social media presence continues to grow and we are seeing more shares and tweets relating to Station to Station businesses. Facebook posts reached over 75,000 people in 2022, and over 17,000 on Instagram.
We currently have 1,500 Twitter followers and we have over 900 followers on Facebook. The introduction of paid promotions has further increased the ability to reach more local audiences. Our Instagram account is steadily growing with an increase to 1,400+ followers, and is proving to be a useful platform to engage with many of our local businesses.*
We are typically publishing more content than other organisations in our sector (non profit – according to Meta’s benchmarking insights tool), which is a positive trend and shows we are ahead of the competition.
We use our social media platforms to promote the online directory as well as individual businesses. We also use tools like competitions, as this encourages consumers to follow us and increases impact.
