Invitation from Lambeth Council to attend this event, details below:

Living Wage Week is the annual celebration of the Living Wage movement, and will take place on 14 – 20 November.

We are excited to invite you to our event on the 16th of November from 5.00pm – 7:15 pm, which will be hosted at Mercato Metropolitano, the Tam.

Address: 42 Newington Causeway, London SE1 6DR

The basics:

The Living Wage campaign is an independent movement of businesses, organisations and people who believe a hard day’s work deserves a fair day’s pay.

The campaign was launched by members of London Citizens in 2001 and enjoys cross-party support across the UK. Lambeth, Lewisham, and Southwark are living wage employers, and are key advocates of the Living Wage campaign.

The Event:

Our Living Wage Week event will take place at Mercato Metropolitano from 5.00pm – 7:15pm

Below is a proposed agenda. Note this may be subject to change.

  • Networking (food and drink provided)
  • Welcome and introduction from Southwark Council
  • Hear from the Living Wage Foundation
  • Hear from retail and hospitality businesses currently paying Living Wage about their journey and benefits of accreditation
