Paying your rent during the Coronavirus pandemic

Commercial tenants unable to operate due to the coronavirus pandemic should contact landlords, preferably directly, and ask for a rent ‘holiday’ or at least a deferral during the crisis.

One West Norwood landlord was asked for this and replied, “Absolutely, we fully expected you to ask, we are all in this together.”

The government has issued a statement saying that there will be a ban on evictions for the next 12 weeks for tenants who cannot pay their rent due to Coronavirus.

If your landlord is not receptive to your request, email us and we will also write to them.
